From the Office VFCP
This Era provides greater opportunities for all complex and sensitives issues to be resolved amicably to make this Era different in human history. The world has never witnessed Global Peace before, because the world had lived in serials of wars decades upon decades. If the entire world learned how to live in wars and survived, it is very clear indication that the world can easily live in peace and prosper than ever before since human civilization. The different is that the world lived in wars and peoples died, but in this Era of Global Peace the world will live in peace and peoples will live happily. This is good because saving human life will become the order of the day as peace will be seen as the ultimate goal. This is the Threshold of peace and it is the preparatory step for human beings to adopt mechanisms that will pave the way for cooperation and understanding in dealing with global complex and sensitive issues to make lasting peace a reality on the planet. It is the greatest privilege and honour that this Era offers for the first time in human history in such a way that no nation or group of peoples must be excluded.
Therefore, VFCP asks the United States to reconsider the decision of withdrawal from United Nations Human Rights Council. The United States had played greater role in global affairs and must not relinquish the unique role in this Era whereby Global Peace is possible and needed the participations of every nation on the planet to be represented in facilitating sustainable goals. The United Nations is the umbrella that provides shades to protect nations and peoples across the globe and the protection of human rights. The United Nations Secretary General as the President of the Planet recommendations must be welcomed and embraced by all peace loving peoples, organizations and nations across the globe. The issue of human rights is very sensitive and very important to be considered as a high priority in all governmental policies. The United Nations provides the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights, based on the text prepared by the Commission on Human Rights was adopted without any objection by the GA in 1948. The Declaration sets forth the basic rights and fundamental freedom to which all men and women everywhere are entitled, without any distinction as to race, colour, sex, language, religion, political, or other opinion, national, or social origins, property, birth, or other status. The rights and freedom thus sets forth include..rights: civil and political rights, and economic, social and cultural rights… right to life, liberty and security of persons, freedom from torture..”Unquote, These are very sensitive and needed round table discussions of all members of the Human Rights Council to get involved to find common grounds to make the world a better place for all. The boycotting or withdrawal from talks never helped in finding lasting peace towards global issues in previous era and must not be repeated in this Era of Global Peace. Global Peace is not about wars and protests, it is not about competition between men and women and it is not about culture over other cultures, but the recognition and respect of other peoples views for all to find the way forward amicably. This can only be possible when all are in one accord to pursue hopes, peace and prosperity for all to enjoy human dignity and aspirations for wars to be counted as a history for peace to be seen across the globe for the first time in human history.
