If there is anything the world needs the most is Global Peace. The greatest challenge facing the world today is the nuclear threats. The attention of global developments has now turn to the building of nuclear weapons. These directions are not in good favour for present and the future world. The trend needs to be addressed to project greater understanding between developed nations to make the world safer from all global threats. The underdeveloped nations must not in anyway be tampered by the developed nations with their nuclear capabilities to put world in fear. To address the trend is (1) Cooperation: This is where the United Nations has to come in to facilitate global cooperation between the world’s supper powers to diminish their ambition of continuous building up nuclear weapons. (2) Dialogue: The conversations that can produce spontaneous and positive results to find solutions to some of those complex issues facing the world. (3) Peace Talks: Comprehensive approaches regarding global matters to reach an agreement that can pave the way for global peace and developments. (4) Humanitarianism: The concern and willingness to improve peoples lives. Poverty is eroding human society yet nations have sufficient fund to build nuclear weapons while hunger and diseases are in their increased across the globe. (5) Inclusiveness: Connecting peoples everywhere across the globe regardless of race, culture, religion or educational backgrounds to be part of local, regional, national and global issues to make the world better for all. (6) Human Rights: Every human being deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. (7) Animal Welfare: Ethically, life in animals is equally sensitive as much as life in human beings. Animals life needed to be protected. (8) Freedom: Freedom of movements of peoples attracts and absorbs developments, because as peoples move they come with skills and abilities to bright the corner in which they are. Let the ears of the world rest from the sounds of nuclear bombs to hear the sounds of industries producing clothes, foods, shoes, medicines, houses, good roads, good water, hospitals, schools, universities, transports and many more across the globe to make the world a better world and a peaceful place for all. Global Peace is what the world needs in 2018.
