VFCP has been following the recent comments made by lawyer martin kpebu on the GhanaWeb about His Excellency President Akufo Addo. Martin kpebu comments were disproportionate to curtail a pardon from the Presidency. Martin kpebu did not show the maturity to demonstrate profound professionalism and performance in dealing with sensitive comments to find sustainable solutions to socio-economic mechanisms and peace of the nation in terms of etymological contents. Ghana has a very rich tradition as a curtsey and norm to approach the Traditional elders and all those in higher authority to show respect, submission, and obedience. This is Ghanaian heritage. A child cannot insult the father or the parents. It is not a Ghanaian tradition and it is unacceptable for a child to disrespect the father. His Excellency President Akofu Addo is the Father of the nation. He is the Ruler and he has the authority over martin kpebu. VFCP asks the Ghana Parliament, the Ghana Judicial Department, and the Ghana National House of Chiefs to take up the matter to create a legacy as a positive sign to educate tomorrow’s children to refrain from such unethical comments to ensure stability. Matin kpebu comments are traditionally unacceptable in this Polygamous Era of the Golden Era Vulnerable Free World.
