VFCP asks for greater respect for the Late Former President JJ Rawlings. VFCP wants to add that his death must not be politicized, but a Profound Burial to reflect Constitutional Orders. The Late Former President Rawlings died as a Former President and therefore it is Ghana Government’s statutory duty to give him a State Burial as a Former President of the Republic of Ghana.
VFCP asks his party members to cooperate with the Family and Government to lay him to rest peacefully.
VFCP asks all Ghanaians for national reconciliation binding peoples, tribes, cultures, religions, and political organizations in this sombre and sensitive period of the nation.
